What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex and serious impairment of the safety of other residents. The Landlord served the Tenant with N5 and N7 notices, but the Tenant did not correct the behavior or attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 3, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant owes the Landlord $4,860.25, which includes compensation for use and occupation of the unit, the application fee, and interest on the rent deposit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 3, 2022, they will owe interest at 4% annually on the outstanding balance.
