What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year. The Landlords intend to move their parents into the lower unit they currently occupy and move into the upper rental unit where the Tenants currently reside.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 31, 2022. The Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting November 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated by October 31, 2022. The eviction order expires on April 30, 2023, if not filed with the Sheriff by that date.
