What happened
Landlord applied for an order to require the Tenant to pay the rent they owed. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,900.04, which includes rent arrears owing up to May 31, 2022 and the cost of the application, minus the rent deposit and interest owing. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 13, 2022, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
