What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TNL-31821-21) regarding rent payment. The Tenant failed to pay $697.50 in arrears by October 15, 2021, and did not pay full monthly rent by November 1, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 16, 2022. The Tenant must pay $3,210.30 plus $55.50 per day starting January 6, 2022, for compensation. If not paid by January 16, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 17, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
