What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and persistent late payment of rent. The parties participated in mediation and reached a consent order.
The ruling
The parties reached a consent order. The Tenant shall pay $871.00 in rent arrears and $186.00 for the filing fee in 5 monthly payments of $211.40 starting November 1, 2022. The Tenant shall also pay rent on time and in full for 12 months from November 1, 2022 to October 1, 2023. If the Tenant fails to make any payment, the outstanding balance becomes immediately due and the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
