What happened

Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet the Landlord's maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards. The issues included the bathtub needing repair, lack of locks on living room windows, and power outages due to blown fuses.

The ruling

The Landlord agreed to repair the bathtub and install locks on the living room windows by December 15, 2021. The Landlord also agreed not to increase the rent.
