What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlords served a Notice of Termination effective May 22, 2021. The Tenant had not paid the total rent required for the period from March 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022.

The ruling

The Tenant must pay $7,815.30 for rent arrears and compensation up to January 19, 2022, plus $62.33 per day starting January 20, 2022, until they move out. The Tenant must also pay $186.00 for the application filing cost.
