What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 5, 2022. The Tenants owe no money to the Landlord as the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenants exceeds the rent arrears. The Landlord can offset $42.58 per day for compensation for the Tenants' use of the unit starting February 23, 2022 until they move out.
