What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The parties agreed to resolve the issues in the Landlord's application and requested the LTB to issue a Consent Order confirming their agreement.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective December 31, 2022. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenants must pay $16,046.00 to the Landlords, which includes rent arrears up to October 31, 2022 and the application filing fee. The Tenants must make specific payments towards the arrears and ongoing rent as per the order.
