What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The condition was for the Tenants to pay $150 towards damages by November 1, 2021, which they did not do.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 16, 2022. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $897.25 for unpaid compensation for damage and application fees, as well as $45.86 per day for use of the unit from January 6, 2022 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by January 16, 2022, they will owe interest starting January 17, 2022.
