What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective July 26, 2021. Tenants failed to pay rent from July 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 and made no payments since the application was filed.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 18, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $8,936.00 on or before that date. Tenants must pay $6,784.87 plus $41.10 per day starting January 8, 2022, for rent arrears and compensation. If not paid, Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 19, 2022.
