What happened
Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to Tenant seriously impairing safety by disconnecting electricity and fire safety system, and using open flame candles for lighting.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the Hydro One bill in full and restoring electricity service by January 31, 2023. If not complied with, the Tenant must vacate by January 31, 2023, and the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting February 1, 2023.
