What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord alleged the Tenants engaged in a pattern of disruptive behavior, including banging, arguing, and leaving personal items in the common hallways.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 25, 2021. The Tenants must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $6,074.75, which includes compensation for use of the unit from May 6, 2021 to October 14, 2021, less any payments made and less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenants do not vacate by October 25, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
