What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (SOL-24510-21) issued on January 4, 2022. The Tenant failed to pay $1,430.00 towards arrears by December 24, 2021, and failed to pay the full lawful monthly rent by January 7, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 4, 2022. The Tenant must pay $4,546.45 plus $47.58 per day starting January 25, 2022, until vacating the unit. If not paid by February 4, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting February 5, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
