What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord and the Landlord's spouse in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for residential occupation for at least one year. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2022. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by this date. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting December 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated. The Tenants are ordered to pay $64.11 per day from October 20, 2022, until they move out, for the use of the unit.
