What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants were in possession of the rental unit on the date the application was filed and did not pay the total rent they were required to pay for the period from April 1, 2020 to April 30, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenants were ordered to pay the Landlord $700.11 in rent arrears and $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants did not pay the full amount by February 2, 2021, they would start to owe interest on the outstanding balance.
