What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Tenants failed to pay rent from June 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective August 28, 2021. Tenants did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 17, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $12,401.00 by that date. Tenants must pay $10,855.35 plus $65.75 per day starting January 7, 2022, for rent arrears, compensation, and filing fees. If not paid, Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 18, 2022.
