Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to undue damage to the rental unit and residential complex, as well as the Landlord's need for personal occupation of the unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 14, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $1,900 for repair costs, $50.47 per day for use of the unit after August 4, 2021, and $186 for the application fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by August 14, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
