What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to provide documents required to support his annual review of his subsidy entitlement and the Tenant's failure to maintain tenant insurance, which the Landlord alleged substantially interfered with the Landlord's lawful rights.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to provide proof of tenant insurance to the Landlord by October 23, 2021. If the Tenant fails to do so, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Tenant is also ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application.
