What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to undue damage to the rental unit and residential complex. The Landlord submitted evidence of the damage and invoices for the repair costs.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 5, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $1,613 for the undue damage and $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay by July 5, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by July 5, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
