What happened

Landlord applied to evict Tenant for committing an illegal act and impairing the safety of another resident on the residential complex. The Tenant was alleged to have assaulted and robbed another resident.

The ruling

The Tribunal ordered that the tenancy be terminated and the Tenant must move out by January 21, 2020. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant was also ordered to pay the Landlord $190 for the cost of filing the application.
