What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant permitting others to commit illegal acts involving drug trafficking and possession, as well as seriously impairing the safety of others by keeping a gun in the rental unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 14, 2017. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $3.78 per day for use of the unit after that date, as well as the $190 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owed by April 14, 2017, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
