What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to illegal acts, impaired safety, and misrepresentation of income. The Tenant's former boyfriend was found to have guns and ammunition in the rental unit, which the Tenant was aware of. The Tenant also failed to report changes in household composition and income to the Landlord.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2015. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $6,860 for rent differential and $170 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 28, 2015, she will owe interest starting March 1, 2015.
