What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their knowingly misrepresenting their income or the income of other household members, resulting in rent being undercharged.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 14, 2017. The Tenants must pay $25,000 to the Landlord by May 31, 2017, and if they fail to do so, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by May 14, 2017, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
