What happened

The Tenants applied for a reduction of the rent charged for the rental unit due to a reduction or discontinuance in services or facilities provided in respect of the rental unit or the residential complex. The Tenants also applied for an order determining that the Landlord has collected or retained money illegally.

The ruling

The request for review is granted. Order TET-56570-15/TET-56578-15 issued on December 14, 2015 and interim order TET-56570-15-IN/TET-56578-15-IN issued on August 25, 2015 are cancelled. The Board shall schedule the applications to be re-heard as soon as possible.
