What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid Notice of Termination effective July 17, 2020 due to rent arrears. The Tenants paid $932.65 after the application was filed, but still owed additional rent.
The ruling
The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $6,128.55 in rent arrears and filing costs, according to a payment plan of $500 per month from April 2021 to March 2022, plus a final $128.55 payment on April 1, 2022. If the Tenants fail to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants.
