What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. As of the hearing date, the Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying $18,161.00 by March 31, 2023. If not voided, Tenants must vacate by March 31, 2023, and pay $14,766.05 plus $74.07 per day from February 16, 2023, until they move out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting April 1, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
