What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Landlords served a valid N4 Notice, which Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing but did not attend.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying $21,589.23 by November 15, 2022. If not voided, Tenants must move out by November 15, 2022, and pay $16,592.54 plus $73.97 per day from October 25, 2022, until they move out. The Sheriff may enforce the eviction from November 16, 2022.
