What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant did not pay the full rent for December 2022 by December 1, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2023. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting April 1, 2023. The Tenant has until March 30, 2023, to file a motion to set aside the order.
