What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Tenant also raised issues regarding maintenance of the rental unit and issues relating to the Tenant's rights.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 29, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before September 29, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord lawful monthly rent of $535.00 on or before the first of each month up to and including the rent for September 2021. If the Tenant fails to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application.
