What happened
Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant substantially interfering with the Landlords' reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest by refusing to allow the Landlords to show the unit to prospective buyers, listing the unit on Airbnb, and causing excessive noise.
The ruling
The Landlords' application for eviction is denied on the condition that the Tenant does not restrict the Landlords from showing the unit to prospective buyers and does not list the unit on Airbnb or any short-term rental website. If the Tenant fails to comply with these conditions, the Landlords may apply to terminate the tenancy within 30 days of the breach. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $175 for the cost of filing the application.
