Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants were not present or represented at the hearing.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $1,179.43, which represents the rent owing up to January 31, 2020, less the last month's rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The Tenants shall also pay the Landlord $190.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the full amount is not paid by November 6, 2020, the Tenants will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
