What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The parties reached an agreement before the hearing, where the Tenant agreed to pay rent on time for the next 12 months, and the Landlord agreed to not pursue the application filing fee.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the lawful monthly rent on time, no later than the 1st of each month from April 2021 to March 2022. If the Tenant fails to make any of these payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board within 30 days for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Landlord shall not pursue the $175 application filing fee, as it has already been paid.
