What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant or someone living with the Tenant committing an illegal act, specifically the theft of a parcel belonging to another resident of the residential complex.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before November 30, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced starting December 1, 2022. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by November 30, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 4.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
