What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant did not meet a condition specified in the order issued by the LTB on July 5, 2022. The Tenant failed to pay full monthly rent for October 2022 on or before October 1, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit by February 3, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by this date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction enforcement starting February 4, 2023. The previous order (LTB-L-002324-22) is cancelled.
