What happened
Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlords have collected or retained money illegally. Tenant claims Landlord did not return the last month's rent deposit.
The ruling
The Landlord shall pay the Tenant the remaining $650 of the last month's rent deposit, as well as the $53 filing fee. If the Landlord does not pay by November 30, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
