What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 25, 2022. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $13,227.90, plus $72.33 per day starting February 15, 2022 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants pay $16,466.00 on or before February 25, 2022, the eviction order will be void and the Tenants can remain in the unit.
