What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 16, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $336.07 for rent arrears and application costs, less the rent deposit. The Tenants must also pay $56.20 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 6, 2021 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 16, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
