What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant, claiming that the Tenant, another occupant, or a person permitted by the Tenant in the residential complex has seriously impaired the safety of any person. The Landlord also sought compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The Landlord's application for termination of tenancy and eviction was dismissed. The notice of termination (N7 Notice) was found to be invalid due to insufficient details. The Landlord failed to provide evidence supporting the allegations of serious impairment of safety.
