What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant causing undue damage to the rental unit. The Landlord also applied for an order requiring the Tenant to compensate the Landlord for the damage.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,146.03 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage to the rental unit, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 3, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
