Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous mediated settlement. The Tenant failed to pay the full rent for February 2022 as agreed in the settlement.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 12, 2022. The Tenant must pay $1,029.09 plus $33.83 per day from March 2, 2022, until vacating. If not paid by March 12, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction with the Sheriff from March 13, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
