What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order. The Tenants did not meet the condition to pay $1,400 by the specified date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 2, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $2,642.70 plus $72.33 per day starting January 23, 2021 until they vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 2, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
