What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on November 5, 2020, prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $15,592.19 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $175 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by November 30, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
