What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in the order issued by the Board on August 18, 2021 with respect to application TEL-15825-21. The condition was that the Tenant, their guests or other occupants of the rental unit would not create noise, such as playing loud music or yelling at a volume or at times that would interfere with the reasonable enjoyment of other tenants. On August 15, 2021, the Tenant had guests over and the Landlord received emails from other tenants indicating that the music and noise from the unit was at a level that was affecting their enjoyment.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before September 28, 2021. If the unit is not vacated on or before September 28, 2021, then starting September 29, 2021, the Landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced.
