What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement agreement signed on June 21, 2019.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 22, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,608.22 in rent arrears and daily compensation of $18.02 per day starting January 12, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 22, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
