What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant committing an illegal act of theft in the residential complex.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant continues if the Tenant meets the condition set out in the order. The Tenant shall not commit the illegal act of theft in the residential complex for a period of one year from the date of this order. If the Tenant fails to comply with the condition, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before February 1, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest.
