What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous mediated settlement. The settlement allowed the Landlord to apply to the Board without notice to the Tenant to terminate the tenancy if the Tenant did not meet certain conditions, including not having open containers of alcohol anywhere on the residential complex.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before October 30, 2020. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
