What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB on April 28, 2021. The parties consented to a new order that modifies the previous one and adds new conditions.
The ruling
The LTB varied the previous order TEL-04702-19 to include new terms prohibiting smoking in common areas and improper disposal of cigarette butts. A payment plan was established for the Tenant to pay $190.00 to the Landlord in monthly installments. The Section 78 conditions from the previous order remain in place.
