What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 22, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $12,823 for rent arrears and application costs, plus $43.36 per day for compensation starting May 12, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 22, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
