What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant had rent arrears from August 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020, and the Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective December 5, 2019.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $950.00 which represents the amount of rent arrears owing up to September 30, 2020 and includes the $175.00 cost of filing the application. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord the full amount owing and the additional rent that comes due in installments by the specified dates. If the Tenant fails to make any one of the payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
